Makes 1 nutrient filled breakfast bowl
Full of antioxidants, fibre, protein and magnesium to energise you for the day
Ingredients
Smoothie:
- x1 frozen banana
- x1 cup of frozen berries
- 1/2 cup of almond/coconut milk (or any other plant based milk)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
Toppings:
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Handful of blueberries/blackberries
- Sliced banana
- Pumpkin seeds
Instructions:
- Blend the smoothie ingredients together in a blender (Nutri-bullet or similar) until the mixture is smooth, thick and creamy
- Pour the smoothie into a bowl and stir through 3/4 of the chia seeds (this allows them to expand into the smoothie)
- Sprinkle the remaining chia seeds on top with the extra toppings and enjoy!
