Save a trip to Starbucks and Costa in the cold weather and make your own cosy pumpkin spiced latte, adding turmeric means lots of lovely health benefits too!

Ingredients

1/4 cup of water

1/4-1/2 tsp of turmeric

1/2 tsp or more of pumpkin spice blend (See Below)

Pinch of black pepper

1/4 cup of pumpkin puree

1 and a 1/2 cups of almond milk

1tsp maple syrup

Turmeric or pumpkin spice blend for garnish

Steps

  1. Bring water and spices to the boil, letting it simmer for a minute
  2. Add the pumpkin, almond milk and sweetener in a blender, blending until frothy
  3. Add the blend to the water and spices
  4. Pour in mugs, sprinkle your choice of topping on top and enjoy!

Pumpkin Spice Blend:

Make a jar up of this blend to have on hand and sprinkle on top of anything to add a delicious flavour!

3 tbsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp ground ginger

2 tsp ground nutmeg

1½ tsp ground allspice

1½ tsp ground cloves
